So what foxes out there would take interest in Shade?
I'm open to anything really. Love interests, enemies, friends--the whole lot. But you've got to convince me why they should be!
As for love interests, Shade isn't really considering finding a mate at this point in time. He's still aching over the loss of his sister, and he is harboring resentment toward his mother--so he's not currently ready for a relationship. But you can definitely try to set something up, right away if you like! I don't really know what will happen until I go to write it, hehe! He's the type that keeps to himself and doesn't talk very much, so he'll probably come across as pretty darn boring to most foxes.
Just so you know, I had toyed with the idea of him becoming the Alpha, but I don't think he's ready for that yet. He needs some sort of motivation to get there, or perhaps somehow he'll be forced into the position. I don't really know yet. I suspect he'd be a decent leader as he is pretty level headed and generally unbiased, until it comes to the Rustique. Oh, and he doesn't like foxes that are reluctant to use their powers, if they have them--especially when self preservation or protecting others is concerned. He would probably consider killing that fox for being a weak link in the chain. His philosophy is not "I hate powerless foxes". Even foxes WITH powers can be powerless if they refuse to act. The only reason he's with the Fantome is because they set out to eliminate the Rustique. That was the only reason it appealed over the Novelle for Shade.
Oh, and I forgot to mention he is a former member of the Rustique, so most likely he'll know some foxes from there. Potential enemies ;D
